Services and Opening
Reception
- Opening from 6:00 to 22:00 or can be reached by phone 0262 6255 552, email res@laktentedcamp.com. In case of emergency: 0903 835 134
- The Reception is in charge of all guests’ procedure, tours & activities services, boat, transfer, games & books, bicycles & kayak rental, travel arrangement & tourism information.
- Wifi is open and free at Reception lounge.
- Laundry and iron service: Pricelist available at reception from 50:00-35000d/item: Laundry collected before 10 a.m. will be delivered before 7 p.m. on the same day. Laundry collected after 10 a.m. will be delivered before noon next day.
Y LAK Restaurant and Lounge
- Breakfast: 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dinner: 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
- Bar is opened from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. everyday.
- Vegan meals, special diets, BBQ, romantic dinners are arranged on RQ with prior notice.
- Self-service snack bar is available at reception lounge with cold drink, snack.
- Y LAK offers fresh farm produce, local specialties (chicken, vegetable, coffee, etc) for you to take buy or order from home. Product selection.

Shuttle boat service
- LAK Tented Camp offers shuttle boat between Bao Dai pier in Lien Son Town and the ecolodge (LTC) boat pier from 5am to 9.30pm. There is nearly a boat service every one hour.
- Boat service on fixed schedule is complimentary for inhouse guests or guests with pre-booked services. Outside of schedule is subject to extra charge.
- For your best convenience, please contact LAK Tented Camp via our hotline +84 262 6255 552 or email res@laktentedcamp.com 24 hours in advance or 30 minutes before arrival to avoid long waiting.
- Lifevest is compulsory when boarding.
- For other boat service such as sunset cruising, cocktail party, photography service please contact our reception.
Accommodation, amenties, facilities
Accommodation: Tent, Bungalow, Dorm.
LAK Tented Camp offers three main types of accommodation with max capacity of 50 persons. Guests can book flexible option with room and breakfast or full package including tours, activities and meals. Please check out accommodation types and package here.
- Lakeview Tented Lodge: 15 units (8 twin, 7 double) suiting couple, families, solo travellers. The Tents are fully equipped like a private villa in canvas with quality bedding, AC+fan, private bathroom, balcony.
- Lakefront Bungalow: 4 units (only double) suiting couple, family. A/C + fan. Private bathroom, shower, bathtub.
- Y Lieng House: Dormitory with 8 berth for large family, groups of friends. Y Lieng House is located by the lakeside and can be combined with a campsite to host big group 20-30 persons. Sharing bathroom with hot shower, WC.
Check-in/out and regulations
- Official check-in time: After 14:00, Check-out: Before 12:00. Early check-in and late check-out is subject to supplement and availability.
- Submit your identification document at reception desk upon check-in. For Vietnamese guests: ID card or equivalent. For foreign guests: passport and valid visa. We just make a copy and return to you immediately.
- For fire safety and non-smokers guests comfort, smoking is prohibited in the rooms. However, you can smoke on the balcony or in the front patio of your room. Ashtrays are available at the reception on request.
- Carrying easily flammable products, ammunitions, weapons, fireworks, explosives, drugs and narcotics and/or any illegal material according to Vietnamese law is not allowed on the resort.
- To avoid loss and/or damage of property: LAK Tented Camp provides safekeeping at the reception and encourages guests to deposit any jewelry or other valuables. LAK Tented Camp shall not be liable for any loss or damage of money, jewelry, precious stones, securities, financial instruments, tickets or other valuables unless they have been deposed in the safe with a receipt issued.
- Umbrella, flashlight, hat and small equipments are provided in each room for your best convenience, please use with good attention for a sustainable usage.
- Before entering the rooms, guests and resort’s employee have to check all properties in the room. During your stay, you will be held responsible for any damage on the properties.
- From 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. is the period of night rest, we ask you to avoid making strong noise during this time.
- Visitors are welcome on the resort. However, they’re not allowed in the rooms after 7 p.m.
- Please kindly use the garbage for any waste disposal. We’re making a great effort to keep this resort clean and your help is appreciated.
- Special Note: For special service like wedding photography, we request guests to inform us in advance for availability and pre-agreement.
Eco-stay and amenities
Concerned about your well-being as well as environmental sustainability, cultural integrity, and social responsibility, we seek for your kind understanding and cooperation on the following practices:
- Air conditioning is available in Tented Lodge and Bungalow. However, for the sake of Mother Nature, please use with discretion and do not set the temperature below 26oC. Please close all curtains when turning the A/C on. However, we highly recommend you to enjoy the ventilation from the lake and electric fan by keep the window opened (just close the mosquito net).
- Bed linen and towels will only be changed on request instead of on a daily basis. Please place the corresponding sign at your room’s entrance.
- Bath gel, shampoo are set in refillable dispensers. Natural hand soap is provided but other amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, combs, additional pillow, blankets… are available on request, at the reception for free.
- Drinking water is supplied daily in glass bottle (1L/day). This water is treated by reverse osmosis, which is the most efficient technique known nowadays to obtain a high quality drinking water, 100% safe with good taste. It can be refilled at the bar for free.
- Coffee and tea, locally produced are complimentary, set up with necessary facilities. Sugar is provided in closed box, but milk is available at the restaurant and chargeable. This is to avoid disturbance from ants and other insects
- Hot water is provided by solar panels and alternated by electricity when the sun is not enough. Please be patient and wait for some minutes for the water to get hot.
- For the sake of ecosystem, the use of pesticides and chemical products is to be avoided at the most. To keep your room well protected from these disturbances, please close fully all windows, doors, and turn unnecessary lights off when you leave the rooms.
- Don’t bring or leave any food in your rooms, your beds, as it will attract ants very quickly.
- Please kindly use the garbage can for any waste disposal. Vietnam doesn’t have batteries or electronic waste recycling. We’ll be thankful if you can bring your dead batteries back home for a proper recycling, we’re trying to use rechargeable batteries as much as possible in the same idea.
- The mission of LAK Tented Camp is to provide more job opportunities and positive economic and social impacts on the surrounding communities. Our staff is mostly M’Nong ethnic, local Vietnamese, teamed up with expat and experienced managers under the same roof, to offer guests an authentic hospitality and cultural integrity. We beg for your kind understanding if there is any shortcoming in communication and professionalism and we wish to receive your constructive comments (by telling us directly or put on comment form) to improve our service
Complimentary activities within LAK Tented Camp
LAK Tented Camp stretches on an area of 5ha with only 19 units of accommodation. The rest of space is dedicated for farm, vegetable garden, green space for entertainment, reading, yoga, games.
Surrounded by nature and the peaceful lake, there are many free and fun and safe activities that you can do by yourself and with your families, kids.

Free activities and recommended timing:
- 6-7am: Sunrise kayaking from the reception toward the water lili bay.
- 6:30: Yoga by the lake
- 7-8am: Morning jogging (ealier is cooler), the whole loop is 3-3.5km. See track.
- 8-9am: Breakfast time. Add more fun for your kids if they go to the chicken farm and look for some eggs.
- 9-10am: Mnong coffee experience (please check availability with the reception).
- 10-11am: Reading, relaxing, fishing (please check at the reception)
- 9am-3pm: Time for tours, activities in the surrounding villages, waterfall.
- 9:30-10:30am: Free use of bicycle. (Kayak and bicycle is available at the reception and free use for one hour)
- 4pm: Self-explore LAK Discovery Trails followed with a farm visit with Mr.Long. See track
- 5pm: Help the gardener and make a “farm-to-cup” or “farm-to-table” dish
- 6pm: Sunset walk or dink
- 6pm: Attend a Gong performance, Can ricewine tasting (On request with supplement)

LAK Discovery Trail is an interesting work right inside the premise of LAK Tented Camp. We would like to offer kids, families or any nature love an easy yet interesting walk. It takes around 1.5-2km, about one hour and you can take the map for LAK Discovery Trail here. If you hike up to the hill top, you can enjoy great view to the “crocodile hille” and “Bao Dai Emperor” hill.

The ecolodge is located 55km from Buon Ma Thuot and 160km north from Da Lat. You can check in at LAK Tented Camp by road or by boat. In the radius of 5-8km, explore Mnong Ethnic village of Mlieng, Yangtao and Bim Bip Waterfall.
